A military panel composed of officers and enlisted members sitting as a general court-martial convicted Appellant, contrary to his pleas, of giving a false official statement and aggravated assault by a means likely to cause death or grievous bodily harm, in violation of Articles 107 and 128, Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), 10 U.S.C. §§ 907, 928 (2006).
