This was an action brought by Harriet Blades against the city of Junction City for injuries resulting from a fall caused by an alleged defect in the construction of a culvert and street crossing. The answer was a general denial, and the further defense of contributory negligence. Trial had before court and jury, which resulted in a general verdict and special findings in favor of the plaintiff and against the defendant for the sum of $1,870.
