Appellee brought his bill in the chancery court of Pren-tiss county against appellant on a fire insurance policy, issued by the latter to the former, to recover the sum of two thousand dollars, a fire loss, suffered by appellee, of his stock of goods, wares, and merchandise, alleged to have been covered by said policy. Appellant interposed a demurrer to the bill, which was overruled by the court, and an appeal was granted appellant from that decree to settle the principles of the cause.
