TYSON, Judge.. Katrina Letress Griffis (“plaintiff’) appeals from orders entered denying her motion to proceed in forma pauperis and granting Patricia Joyce Lazarovich (“Lazarovich”), John Edward Lazarovich, and Cassandra Michelle Leak’s (“Leak”) (collectively, “defendants”) motions for costs. We affirm.

I. Background

This is the second appeal arising from plaintiff’s action for personal injuries sustained as the result of an automobile accident involving a vehicle driven by Lazarovich and a vehicle driven by Leak, in which plaintiff was a passenger. See Griffis v. Lazarovich, 161 N.C. App.…
