DELEHANT, District Judge.

The plaintiff, a resident and citizen of California, instituted this action in the District Court of Cass County, Nebraska, against the defendant, a Kansas corporation, to recover damages for personal injuries sustained by the plaintiff in a collision in Nebraska between a standing motor transport belonging to, and operated by, the defendant through one of its employees, and a Chevrolet “Pickup” truck (hereinafter referred to as “the truck”) operated by one Emery A.
