1 After the cessation of a debt collection company's litigation efforts against them, two individuals brought suit against that company for violations of federal and state statutes governing debt collection practices, The company sought to enforce arbitration clauses in the underlying credit card agreements allegedly entered into by the individuals and the company's predecessor-in-interest,.
