The respondent was an employee of the appellant, Ware Shoals Manufacturing Company, as a clerk in its furniture department, and was returning to the store after making a delivery of furniture when he was injured in a motor vehicle accident. As the result of the accident, which occurred on October 31, 1936, his left arm was broken between the wrist and the elbow.
