Appellant in the court below garnished the sheriff of Pierce county, claiming that he, the said sheriff, had funds in his hands belonging to respondents. The sheriff moved to dismiss the garnishment proceedings on the ground that, as sheriff 'of Pierce county, and a public officer, he cannot be garnished. This motion was sustained by the court and the cause dismissed.
