This is an appeal from a judgment of conviction and sentence entered by the trial court on June 18, 1973, folio-wing a jury verdict finding the defendant guilty of 10 counts of fraud in the sale of securities in violation of sec. 551.41 (3), Stats.

We must first decide the issue, raised by the state, as to whether or not this court has jurisdiction to entertain this appeal. We conclude that we do not for the reason that the appeal was not perfected within the time required by statute.
