MILLER, District Judge.
Plaintiff United States of America has moved the court pursuant to Fed.R.Civ.P. 12(f) to strike certain affirmative defenses asserted by defendant Walerko Tool and Engineering Corporation (“Walerko”). The United States has filed a three-count complaint against Walerko under sections 107 and 104(e) of the Comprehensive Environmental Response Compensation and Liability Act (“CERCLA”), 42 U.S.C. §§ 9607 and 9604(e), and section 3008 of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (“RCRA”), 42 U.S.C. § 6928.
