The defendant William Hansen, doing business as Hansen Brothers General Contractors, appeals from the decision of the workers’ compensation review board affirming the trial commissioner’s finding that Hansen was the principal employer obligated to assume liability for all compensation and medical expenses due to the plaintiff, Joel Hebert, pursuant to General Statutes § 31-291.1 Hansen claims that the board improperly (1) affirmed the commissioner’s finding that Hansen was the principal employer of the plaintiff, (2) affirmed the commissioner’s finding that the defendant…
