This appeal arises from the commencement of arbitration proceedings by appel-lees James K. Auné and other investors (collectively “the Investors”) against appellant brokerage firm Washington Square Securities, Inc. (“Washington Square”). Washington Square sought a declaratory judgment in district court halting the arbitration.
