OPINION

KLAPHAKE, Judge.

Gerald Wayne Lindgren, appearing pro se, appeals the grant of summary judgment to respondent Glacial Plains Cooperative that awards damages on two contracts for the sale of grain. Because the agreements in question fall within the ad mission exception to the statute of frauds under the UCC and because we conclude that the UCC supersedes the general statute of frauds, we affirm in part and remand for further proceedings.
