In United States Fidelity & Guaranty Co. v. First Nat. Bank of Dundee, 233 Ill. 475, 481, it is decided (1) that a bond which is issued by a guaranty company to indemnify an employer against loss from the dishonesty of an employee is “an insurance contract, and as such subject to the rules of construction applicable to insurance policies generally”; (see People v.
