William A. McGrath, president of the McGrath Candy Company, a corporation, died on May 21, 1935. At the time of his death, there were outstanding eight insurance policies on his life. Policy No. 1 for ten thousand dollars and policy No. 2 for five thousand dollars were issued by the Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company, and policy No. 3 for ten thousand dollars, by the Union Central Life Insurance Company.
