COX, Judge:

Appellant, while stationed at Soesterberg Air Base in the Netherlands, mailed two grams of marijuana in the form of hashish to his brother in the United States. Appellant pleaded guilty to one specification of distribution of hashish, in violation of Article 112a, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 USC *199§ 912a. A special court-martial composed of officer members sentenced him to a bad-conduct discharge and reduction to the lowest enlisted pay grade.
