LEMLEY, Chief Judge.

This cause is now before the Court upon the defendant’s application for bail pending his appeal from a conviction of violating certain of the federal liquor laws, which application is resisted by the Government. The matter has been submitted to the Court upon the application aforementioned, the Government’s response thereto, the motion of the defendant to strike the Government’s response and for the entry of an order admitting to bail, documentary evidence introduced by the defendant, written briefs and oral argument; and in passing upon this application we, of course,…
