Kingston v. Markward & Karafilis, Inc

Following a jury trial, a verdict in plaintiffs favor in the amount of $3,000,000 was entered jointly against defendant cross-defendant appellant, W.J.C. Kaufmann Construction Co. (Kaufmann) and defendant cross-plaintiff appellee Markward & Karafilis, Inc. (Markward). The jury awarded total indemnity in favor of Markward. Kaufmann now appeals as of right from the trial court’s order denying its motion for judgment notwithstanding the verdict on the issue of indemnity.
