Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the County Court, Suffolk County (Tisch, J.), rendered August 21, 1991, convicting him of grand larceny in the fourth degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence.
Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.
The trial court properly concluded that the defendant waived his right to be present at his trial, since the defendant had twice been informed that the court would proceed in his absence if he failed to appear (see, People v Sanchez, 65 NY2d 436; People v Parker, 57 NY2d 136).
