The appellant, William Edward Wieland, Jr. (Billy Wieland), was convicted by a Talbot County jury of four assaultive offenses, consummated or inchoate, against his brother, Bryan Wieland. The four offenses were part of a single act that took place at approximately 3 A.M. on August 10, 1992, at Billy Wieland’s own home on Glebe Road in Easton.
