On October 26, 1993, the plaintiffs, American National Bank & Trust Company, Amric Development Corporation, and Larry Gross-man, filed the present suit (Grossman II) against the defendant, the Village of Libertyville, seeking a declaration that the zoning ordinance of the village was unconstitutional, invalid, and void because it prevented the plaintiffs from developing single-family residences on a certain parcel of land located within the village, currently zoned "ORD” under the village’s ordinance.
