On August 8, 2016, the Attorney Grievance Commission of Maryland ("Petitioner" or "Bar Counsel"), acting pursuant to Maryland Rule 19-721, filed a "Petition for Disciplinary or Remedial Action" against Edward Smith, Jr. ("Respondent"). On December 17, 2016, Petitioner filed a second "Petition for Disciplinary or Remedial Action" against Respondent.
