APPLICATION for Writ of Mandate to require the Department of Engineering of the State of California to designate to which of the state highway funds certain moneys appropriated by the federal government should be apportioned. Writ granted. The facts are stated in the opinion of the court.

Petitioner prays for a writ of mandamus directing the members of the department of engineering of the state of California to make a proper order indicating to the state treasurer the highway fund to which to credit the proceeds of certain cheeks on the treasurer of the United States aggregating $329,011.82, now in his possession.
