OPINION

CLAY, Circuit Judge.

Brashard J. Gibbs (“Defendant”) appeals his conviction and sentence for being a felon in possession of ammunition, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1). Defendant contests two evidentiary decisions of the district court on the bases that the evidence was admitted for an improper purpose under Federal Rule of Evidence 404(b) and that the unfair prejudicial impact of the wrongly admitted evidence substantially outweighed any probative value it added to proving the necessary elements of the charged offense.
