DUFFY, District Judge.

On November 24, 1945, an explosion occurred in the power house of plaintiff’s plant. In this action plaintiff alleges that the two insurance company defendants are liable to it pursuant to the terms of policies of insurance issued by them which were in full force and effect on the date of the explosion. The policy issued by Continental was a fire insurance policy with extended coverage including explosions.
