On the second day of July, 1885, James M. Haven, through his attorney, Giles H. Gray, Esq., filed in this court a petition setting forth that one Thomas J. Hill died on or about the twenty-fourth day of June, 1885, in this city and county, of which he was then a resident, leaving estate therein consisting of personal property of the probable value of $5,000 cash; that said Hill left a will, dated March 22, 1884, in possession of the petitioner, naming him, the said petitioner, executor, and Wm.
