This is an action wherein plaintiff, A. Leonard Brougham, seeks to recover from the defendants, Independent Potash & Chemical Company and H. I. Grimes, its president, the sum of $12,250, as alleged balance due for legal services and expenses from October, 1935, to August, 1939. The parties will be referred to as they appeared in the trial court, the facts appearing in the discussion of the alleged errors.
