MICHAEL MASSENGALE, Justice.
Appellee Houston 8th Wonder Property, L.P., d/b/a Six Flags Astroworld successfully protested the 2006 appraised and market values of its commercial property as determined by appellant Harris County Appraisal District. See Tex. Tax.Code Ann. § 41.41(a) (West 2008). Both the property owner and the appraisal district invoked their rights to seek judicial review of the appraisal review board’s valuation. See id. §§ 42.01, 42.02 (West 2008 & Supp. 2012). The appraisal district’s appeal was dismissed by the district court for want of jurisdiction.…
