(886) Defendant was indicated in two separate bills for an assault with a deadly weapon on Huley Mangum, and carrying a concealed weapon, with which the assault was alleged to have been committed. By consent, the two cases were consolidated and tried together. At the close of the evidence the court adjourned from Tuesday to Wednesday, and on the latter day, when the trial was resumed, defendant pleaded guilty to the indictment for carrying a concealed weapon.
