GEORGE W. Latimer, Judge:

In this case, the convening authority ordered the alleged offense tried as non-capital, and the accused was convicted of premeditated murder, in violation of Article 118, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 USC § 918. He was sentenced to dishonorable discharge, total forfeitures, and life imprisonment. The convening authority approved only so much of the confinement as provided for a term of twenty years, and the board of review made a further reduction to ten years, both agencies other*672wise affirming the findings and sentence.
