Plaintiffs, the cities of Huntington Woods and Pleasant Ridge, appeal by leave granted the trial court’s order granting in part defendant city of Oak Park’s motion for summary disposition pursuant to MCR 2.116(0(10). Plaintiffs argue on appeal that the trial court erroneously concluded (1) that plaintiffs have a statutory duty to contribute to the costs of operating the 45th District Court and (2) that the city of Oak Park does not have a statutory duty to disburse to plaintiffs a portion of the fees assessed against criminal defendants in 45th District Court proceedings that are allocated to…
