The sole issue raised by this certified appeal is whether the Appellate Court properly reversed the decision of the compensation review board (board) upholding the decision of the workers’ compensation commissioner for the third district (commissioner), who awarded the plaintiff, Evana DiNuzzo, survivor’s benefits under General Statutes § 31-306 (a).
