This was an action upon a policy of insurance issued by appellant insuring respondent *233against loss or damage by fire upon certain laundry machinery and fixtures. The complaint alleges the issuance of the policy, the destruction by fire of the property insured, the furnishing of proofs of loss and non-payment on the part of the company. The answer admits the making of the policy and the fire, denies the amount of damage claimed, and sets up affirmatively that there was a submission to arbitration and an award made, under the terms of which the…
