Appeal from Des Moines District Court. — Hon. Charles H. Phelps, Judge. Action on a policy of insurance covering certain personal property. From a verdict for the plaintiff the defendant appeals.

The petition alleges the, issuing of the policy, the destruction by fire of a part of the property insured, and damage to the remainder of it; that the plaintiff, as administrator, was at the date of the policy as well as at the time of the fire the sole owner of the property insured; that the loss waS nine thousand and twenty-three dollars and ninety-three cents, and that due notice and proof of loss were furnished the defendant. A copy of the policy is attached to the petition, from which it appears that the policy ran to the “estate of A. G-. Adams,’7 and was for thirty-five hundred…
