By verdict of a jury in the superior court of Okmulgee county the plaintiff in error was found guilty of having illegal possession of intoxicating liquor, with his. punishment fixed at imprisonment in the county jail for a term of six months, and to pay a fine of $500.
This defendant and a companion were apprehended in the nighttime by officers along the railroad tracks near Henryetta, each having under his arm a gallon jar said to contain whisky.
