Plaintiff has filed a class action complaint against Hughes Electronics Corporation and its subsidiary, DIRECTV, Inc., on behalf of “thousands of residential and commercial subscribers” of Defendants’ satelhte television services and programming. Plaintiff alleges, inter alia, that Defendants charged excessive late fees to their Maryland customers, and asserts various statutory and common law claims.
