QUINN, Justice.

The defendant, Ibrahim Elkhatib (defendant), appeals his conviction for first degree arson, section 18-4-102, C.R.S.1973 (1978 Repl.Vol. 8). His principal contention is that the trial court erroneously denied his motion to suppress evidence seized as a result of the warrantless search of his grocery store after a fire of suspicious origin had been extinguished. Additionally, he alleges as error the admission of evidence relating to a recent increase of insurance coverage on the contents of his store before the fire and the court’s denial of his motion for judgment of acquittal.…
