REVISED MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER

FABER, Chief Judge.

Before the court is the defendant’s motion for summary judgment. For the reasons detailed in this opinion and order, defendant’s motion is GRANTED.

I. Introduction

The plaintiff filed this action on April 19, 2004, seeking damages for an injury sustained while swimming in Lake Sherwood at Monongahela National Forest. The plaintiff alleges that he was injured on June 20, 2002, by the “reckless, careless, and negligent placement of concrete metal anchors which protruded above the floor of the public swimming area of Lake Sherwood.” See…
