Jason Shawn Brooks pled guilty to three counts of sex crimes against children. Count 1 was for violating 18 U.S.C. § 2422(b) by attempting to entice and coerce a person that he believed to be a 14-year-old girl to engage in illegal sexual activity with him. The second count was for violating 18 U.S.C. § 2423(b) by traveling between states with the intent to engage in illicit sexual conduct with a 14-year-old girl.
