— The appellee, Cauble, made complaint against the appellants, Silas Martin and John and Mary A. Huffman, and against Joseph B. and William H. H. Phillips, to enforce a vendor’s lien. The defendants Phillips have refused to join in the appeal.

*69The complaint was in two paragraphs, to each of which each of the appellants filed a separate demurrer, which demurrers the court overruled and the appellants excepted. The appellants each filed a separate answer in general denial, and one or more. special defences, to which the plaintiff filed a reply in general denial.
