Ann Loftin, by her next friend, H. G. Loftin, sued the Atlanta, Birmingham & Coast Railroad Company to recover damages for personal injuries. The jury awarded the plaintiff a verdict for $1000, and the only exception is to the judgment overruling the defendants’ motion for new trial based solely on the general grounds.
