The City of Moses Lake challenged in superior court the salary increases awarded its firefighters by an interest arbitration panel. It contended the award was based on evidence not presented to the panel and, therefore, arbitrary and capricious. The Superior Court granted the motion of International Association of Firefighters, Local 2052, for summary dismissal of the City's complaint, but denied the Association's request for attorney fees and interest.
