Defendants Banque Paribas, Credit Lyon-nais, Societe Generale, Credit Agricole Indo-suez, Natexis, Banque Nationale de Paris, Chase Manhattan Bank and Credit Commercial de France (collectively, “defendants”) have moved for a protective order pursuant to Rule 26(c) of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. This Order further elaborates the reasons underlying this Court’s rulings on the record at the hearing on this motion on December 7, 2000 (“Dec. 7 Tr.”) in denying the motions.
