STOKES, Justice.

This suit was instituted by the appellant, Preston Pope Reynolds, on his own behalf as a taxpayer of Dallas County, and purporting to act for all others who were similarly situated, against the appellees, Dallas County and A1 Templeton, its County Judge. The object of the suit was to procure an injunction against the county, prohibiting the use of voting machines to register and record the ballots cast in local and state elections by the electors.
