The Maryland Legislature by chapter 513 of the Acts of 1914, codified as article 33, sections 222, 223, and 224, Code, authorized the election supervisors of Baltimore City, and the election supervisors of the several counties of Maryland, to use voting machines in primary and general elections under such rules and regulations as such supervisors might deem advisable or necessary.
