This case raises several issues on appeal. First, we must determine whether the trial court in this case improperly found, pursuant to article 13b of the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International *314Child Abduction (Hague Convention),1 that the plaintiff *315had proven by clear and convincing evidence that the *316defendant had sexually abused his son.
