The defendant was convicted of the crime of being a felon in possession of a firearm capable of being concealed upon his person and appeals from the judgment.
The defendant states the facts as follows:
“The Defendant, Bobby Ray Anderson, was observed, on the 18th day of May, 1964, at the Umatilla County Toll Bridge, which is located on the south side of the Columbia River, Umatilla, Oregon, by a purser, Vane Hiatt, who works at the Umatilla County Toll Bridge.
