Appellee, filed complaint in the Pulaski chancery court in which she alleged that in August, 1929, Emelie Kriekerherg- died intestate,' without issue, leaving as survivor her husband, George F. Kriekerherg, appellant, now 74 years of age; that Emelie Kriekerherg’s parents predeceased her and that she left no surviving heirs other than appellee, her sister; that at the time of her death she owned two lots in the city of Little Rock, Arkansas; and at her death, hy operation of law, appellant became the owner of a life estate in one-half of said property and the remainder vested in…
