TENNEY, District Judge.
In this action, the petitioner, Sofia Shipping Company, Ltd. (“Sofia”), is seeking to confirm an arbitration award which was rendered in its favor. The respondent, Amoco Transport Company (“Amoco”), cross-moves to vacate the award. The petition to confirm is granted.
BACKGROUND
