In this case the plaintiff alleges two causes of action, one in quantum meruit for the value of her services to the decedent and one in deceit. The defendant moved to dismiss both counts on the basis that they are barred by the Statute of Frauds and the statute of limitations. The Superior Court (Mullavey, J.) transferred without ruling seventeen questions of law upon an agreed statement of facts.
